You probably have seen those funny looking, mostly black and white images in newspapers, posters, or on postcards and even buildings.
QR codes initially have been developed for tracking parts in the automobile industry, but these days the codes have a much broader appeal and are used more and more in advertising and promotions. Scannable with smart phones they can contain any of the following:
– URL (link to a mobile landing page)
– Phone Number
– SMS (Short Message Service)
– Video or other multimedia
